CPA Office Redesign
During my time as a Chute Gerdeman Brand Communications Intern, I was given the opportunity to be a project lead on an office redesign for a local CPA Firm. I worked with two other designers in order to develop a concept that would portray the new company brand and give the office a refresh. The company's slogan was "not your typical CPA firm." They strived to be more welcoming, personable and inviting as well as show their employees that they are down-to-earth, witty and friendly. My team developed a brand filter to allow the company to clearly communicate their goals with their customers and employees. We also developed interior graphics and decor elements in order to make the new space match the new brand. Below you will see our concept for the CPA firm.
The Brand Filter
The brand filter was developed in order to establish what the brand represents and from that, how the new office space can reflect those standards.
How The Space Should Feel:
Familiar Friendly Warm Modern Energized |

The Inspiration
Brand Elements/Patterns
The new firm already developed a visual mark or identity (see below on left). In order to make the space feel more modern, familiar and friendly, we extracted elements of the logo in order to create patterns that could be applied in different settings. By creating these patterns, we were able to create a space that felt more like home for clients, causing them to be more relaxed during their visits.
